About Us

We discovered Almuñécar in 2009 and fell in love with it! If you wish to discover "real Spain" then this is the place to come to. It  is located in Southern Spain on the lovely and warm Costa Tropical and as name suggests, the climate is subtropical with daytime temeratures typically ranging from 20ºC in the winter to around 30ºC in the summer and experiencing over 320 days of sunshine a year. 

 We love to take part in "Almuñécar Life", from the amazing tapas bars and restaurants to the fiesta's and festivals. From the 'Semana Santa' processions at Easter, the 'San Miguel' fiesta in the Old Town in September and biggest one of all, 'La Fiesta de la Virgen de la Antigua' on 15th August, which boasts one of the biggest firework displays in Europe (and a whole host of other fiesta's throughout the year) and not forgetting the "Jazz en la Costa" festival each July. There is clearly always plenty going on! Skiing is a must in the winter in Sierra Nevada (it is one of the only places in Europe where you can ski in the morning and sunbathe in the afternoon!)  and white water rafting in The Alpujarras in the spring and it's scuba diving and beaches in the summer and autumn is the perfect time to just chill and explore.

Furthermore, the Costa Tropical boasts a fantastic 75 km of largely unspoilt coastline and there is much to explore in land as well. To the north of Almuñécar you will find Granada with the stunning Alhambra Palace, with the Sierra Nevada mountains just a short drive away. 

As well as all that the area has to offer, what Almuñécar is most famous for is that here you receive a free tapas with any drink, but  what is truly appealing about the Costa Tropical, is that it hasn't been spoiled by overdevelopment and mass tourism unlike the neighbouring Costa del Sol. 

Nowadays, we spend our time locating properties which offer something unique but also have a soul. We reovate them, add our own touch and then share them as the ideal location for a holiday, remote working or simply relaxing.
